An Overview of the Phong Huy Wind Power Plant Project
The Phong Huy Wind Power Plant Project was launched in April 2020. The plant was mostly finished and operational by September 2021. The total installed capacity of the Phong Huy Wind Power Plant Project is 48MW. Phong Huy Wind Power Joint Stock Company has invested in the project.

The project’s scale and design
The Phong Huy wind power plant has a total investment of up to VND 1,600 billion. The work covers a total of 25.53 hectares of land. In which the land area occupied with a fixed term is 16.46 ha, with 9.2 ha temporarily occupied. The plant has 12 wind turbines with a total capacity of 4 MW. This is a grade one energy plant, with an annual production of roughly 150.26 million kWh. The Phong Huy Wind Power Plant project has an operating period of 50 years.
The project has now been successfully put into commercial operation after more than a year of development. The plant contributes a significant amount of electricity to the national grid. As a result, the national hydroelectric system’s electrical strain is alleviated. Furthermore, the utilization of wind power minimizes reliance on fossil fuels.
