Dau Tieng Solar Power Project – 500 MW

Dau Tieng Solar Power is a group of solar power plants erected on a semi-flooded area along Dau Tieng Lake in the Tan Chau and Duong Minh Chau districts of Vietnam’s Tay Ninh province. The cluster project, which began in June 2018 and ended in March 2019, consists of three power plants with a total installed capacity of 500 MW. The solar power farm spans 700 hectares, with most of it located in the Dau Tieng lake’s semi-flooded section.
BIM2, BIM3 solar power project – 300 MWp
- Time to completion: June 2018 – April 2019.
With a total investment of VND 6,263 billion, BIM 2 Solar Power Plant with a capacity of 250MW and BIM 3 Solar Power Plant with a capacity of 40MW are positioned in a cluster of 3 BIM 1, 2 & 3 solar power plants with a total maximum capacity of 405MWp. The BIM Group, a joint venture with AC Energy Corporation, owns the projects.
Phu My solar power plant project – 330MW
- Investor: Vision Development Joint Stock Company Charged Energy
- Time to complete: May 2020 – December 2020
This is Binh Dinh province’s largest solar power plant, with a total investment of more than VND 6,200 billion and a total area of 380 hectares. In barely 7 months of development, the Phu My Solar Power Plant has put into commercial operation 216MW, with a total capacity of 330MW.
