BIM Group and its partner AC Energy Holdings deployed and built BIM 2 BIM 3 solar power projects in Ninh Thuan. These two units are part of Southeast Asia’s largest cluster of solar power plants.<\/span><\/p>\n

BIM 2 BIM 3 solar power projects overview<\/span><\/h2>\n

In June 2018, the BIM 2 solar power plant began construction in two communes, including Phuoc Minh and Phuoc Ninh, in Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province. On April 18 and April 19, 2019, BIM 2 and BIM 3 power plants began generating electricity, two months ahead of planned, officially joining the national grid system. These two factories are among Vietnam’s top ten typical renewable energy projects for 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BIM Group’s solar power facilities, BIM 2 and BIM 3, have a combined capacity of 314MW, with capacities of 250MW and 40MW, respectively. BIM 2 and BIM 3 solar power plants have a capacity of 418 million kWh and 75 million kWh, respectively, and offer an annual electrical output of roughly 418 million kWh and 75 million kWh, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project’s total investment<\/span><\/h2>\n

As a result, the cluster of two solar power plants has a considerable capacity, with over 1 million solar panels installed. Annually, the quantity of electricity generated is estimated to serve roughly 200,000 homes. In addition, the plant helps to the reduction of about 304,400 tons of CO2 discharged into the atmosphere each year.<\/span><\/p>\n
